Qualification for Kendriya Vidyalaya Teacher Recruitment
You should possess a Education Qualification to become a Teacher in Kendriya Vidyalaya. There is Education Qualification required, which is also different for different types of Class Teachers in KVS.
Qualification for PRT Teacher - You must have 50% in your Senior Secondary (Class XII) with Diploma in Elementary Education / Diploma in Education. Or, you should possess a Graduation in any stream, with a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
Qualification for TGT Teacher- If you want to become a Teacher of Class 5-10, i.e, TGT Teacher. You should have a Bachelor Degree with more than 50% percentage from the Recognised University of India Only. Along with, you should also have a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) Degree.
Qualification for PGT Teacher- You should have a Master’s Degree in your Relevant Stream. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or its equivalent Degrees such as- B.Tech, MCA etc. is also applicable to become a PGT Teacher in KVS.
There are also many Qualifications, all types of above Teachers should possess. That, you all should have to clear an Entrance Examination, known as Central Entrance Eligibility Test (CTET). This Entrance Examination is for those who wants to become a LBS Teacher.
